The room we have been allocated is towards the back of the ship on the portside, Can anybody please tell me what we can expect to see from our balcony while the ship is (a) coming into the various ports and (b) docked in the various ports i.e Cape Canaveral, Nassau and Casterway Cay.Do we face the portside so to speak at any of them or does our room look directly out to sea most of the time? I would be very grateful for any feedback, thank you. :Pinkbounc ::yes::

It depends on the cruise, ports and a myriad of other factors (weather, captain, phase of the moon, number of home runs hit by players wearing the number 14 in the previous nights baseball games).

At Port Canaveral you are away from the dock and have a great view of Cape Canaveral. The view isn't as good leaving the shipping channel though as most of the people waving you off are on the starboard side (as is the cruise terminal).

At Nassau it really depends on where they put you in the wharf.

At Castaway Cay it depends on the ship being backed in (more common) or nosed in (used to be common, now it isn't)

Backed in at CC you are facing away from the main island area facing the ocean.
