Hello everyone! DH and I are taking a trip to the World in December and I'm trying to decide if we should do the DDP. We had free dining last September and it was really nice to just eat and hand over our room key/card to pay and not have to think about money (of course it was really nice since it was free which won't be the case this time).

DH and I LOVE  fine dining and good food.. we will more than likely be eating at one nice TS restaurant a day while we are in Orlando. We are staying in a condo off site so we will do light breakfasts in our room and probably eat the TS meal as a lunch or dinner. We are also snackers and love treats and sweets!

would doing the DDP be a good match for us?

and where can I find information on DDP and how much it is?

btw, we are staying in orlando for a week but will only be going to the parks 4 days (1 day for each park) - if the weather permits, one of our free days we will go to a water park, and the remaining time we will be relaxing and just hanging out with family.. going to DTD etc. Even though we are only going to be buying a 4 day park ticket, is it still possible for us to buy the DDP for the entire week? I wanted to eat at some of the restaurants like California Grill and I know we are going to Boma once and Ohana as well.

Would it still be worth it for us if we won't be in the parks every day to take advantage of our CS meal and snacks? thanks! :confused3

Here is some info on the different plan choices from WDW:

(Basic Plan)

(Deluxe Plan)

(Premium Dining)

I can't remember what the bottom line costs were, but I think the basic plan is $70/day (but don't quote me on that!). I'm sure you will have another reply with the actual costs for each.

Does Disney allow the use of the Dining Plan if you stay offside? :confused3
