We will be staying at CS this August, very confused about which rooms in Garden view would be best South, North. I would like to be able to see Magic Kingdom but dont want to pay the difference for Tower. Is there a best room? Also I have 2 teenagers I have never stayed at CRa before is this a good choice. We have stayed at FW cabins and this worked well but now no river Counrty:confused:

Hi, while there are no vets. in the family, I can tell you alittle about the CR. We stay their everytime we go to WDW. We have an 8yr,and 2 17yr. olds. We stay their not only because we love the CR but the monorail is great if you have kids. The 17 yr. olds go off on their own using the monorail and I don't have to worry about them waiting for buses. Its a short ride to the park and I just feel their safer on the monorail. They can come and go as they please (within reason). They go to the poly and look around their and visit its gift shops. The pool area is nice and relaxing, Chef Mickeys is right their and theirs always action in the CR. My kids love action of any kind. Its a kid friendly resort, which I know that all of the resorts at WD are, but you just can't beat the size of the rooms and the monorail. The game room is the largest on-site and the food court has most stuff kids want. The gift shops are fun to shop in as they have stuff for kids and adults alike. You can also see the water parade from the CR. I think it passes by around 10PM, but not to sure of the exact time. You can see the amazing fireworks on the observation deck at night. We're going in July and I CAN't wait. I hope I answered some of your questions and I'm sure you'll have a great time, after all your at Disney.

We love CR! This is a great resort, location & great for your kids! lots to do! The game room alone is a destination! The pool was a good slide, many fountains, and 2 hot tubs! There's a beach for volley-ball! The marina is fabulous! Many different water-craft, you will all have a great time.

Now, Location: Right now the north wing is being taken up by shades of green people, for another year, this is the best area for magic kingdom not in tower. However, the south wing is closer to the pool! I would reccommend requesting the waterview if possible, cause you could see the lake, & / or pool. The electric water pagent comes every nite. All rooms including the tower rooms are identical! All have exactally the same furniture and lamps etc.... Only difference is tower as balconies. Wings 1st floor has patios, and the 2nd & 3rd floor do not have balconies.

Fireworks viewing: Go to the roof! The tower has roof access and it is unparrelled in WDW!

More info is available on www.wdwig.com & www.ourlaughingplace.com You will have a great time!

Any other questions, ask away, MKY:cool:
