Informal Video?

We're having an Escape wedding, just DF, myself and our kids (his, mine & ours ). Anyway, probably the toughest part of all of this was telling my Dad that we wanted to have a small getaway w/ just the kids for our wedding. After all he's been waiting 35+ years for me to get married. Of course, he was wonderful about it, and said if it made me happy, then it made him happy.

Now, we weren't planning on videotaping the wedding...we're trying to keep it very simple. But, my Dad's only request was that we tape the wedding so that he could see it. He even offered to pay to have it done. Well I've been doing some research, and it seems that I'm not going to be able to hire anyone for less that $1200 - $1500. There's no way I'm asking my Dad to pay that, and I'm sure that for that price, we'd be getting a lot more than what we really want.

We really want the kids to be part of the ceremony, not taping it. And we don't have any other guests to ask. I thought perhaps of hiring a local college student or something, but I'm just not sure.

So, does anyone have any ideas?

i'm sure stan from stvs has an intimate wedding package for about 800 but i could be wrong. I know disney offers to tape the ceremony only but i'm not sure if thats just in the pavillion as we were offered it

Have you tried amoment2 remember? They have basic packages starting from $499 and you can choose to add extra options like photo montages and an additional camera if you wanted.

awww...my first thought was "gosh...ill film it for you!" If you end up not able to find someone seriously PM me, I live 1hr from Disney and have NO prob driving there for the day. Its all about dreams coming true..
