When I stayed in Coronado Springs in January 1999 they had a bus that went from CS to the Boardwalk. I'm going back there in January 2002 and just had a few questions on that:

1. Do they even still do this? (The CM I spoke to when I made my ressies had no idea what I was talking about when I inquired about it. However, she also told me that there is boat service to the BW from MK. :D )

2. What time does it start running? When does it end?

3. Can you get the bus back to CS from BW or do you have to do the Downtown Disney route?

Thanks for any help!
Beth

Unless things have changed in the past month or two that bus route is still operated from the Pleasure Island hub. You have to go through Downtown Disney when going from CS to BW. Coming back, however, it is non-stop from BW to CS. It starts running in late morning when Marketplace and Westside open. The route is DD to BW to CS to DD.

Thanks a lot Master Gracey! The bus to/from the BW is such a great perk of staying in CS. I'm glad they still have it...

This route is runned from the Downtown Disney Hub (Pleasure Island) and also from Disney/Mgm Studio hub too. The way it works is like this listed below.

Downtown Disney runs it from 8 am to 5 pm the route goes Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon to the BW to Coronado Springs back to BW then on back to Downtown Disney.

At 5 pm Downtown Disney does not run the Route but instead Disney/Mgm takes over for a limited amount of time (from 5pm to Disney/Mgm Park close time usually by 9 pm).

After Disney/Mgm has Closed then Downtown Disney Resumes running the route again.

Disney runs it this way to give better service to guests going to/from Downtown Disney during the Dinner hour then once things slow down Downtown can do the route again.
