Does anyone have any experience in flying on PanAm? I am considering flying them out of Worcester (Regional airport 45 west of Boston). My only concern is that they just have one flight, but it is non-stop and the airport is 20 mins from my house. Has anyone flown them and the flight been cancelled? What did they do?

If we flew out of Boston or Providence there would be more option if a flight was cancelled.

Any advice or experiences would be appreciated :)

Thanks

I used to work next to them at the tkt cntr and they had extremely light passenger loads except on the charter flights. they eventually pulled out of pittsburgh and no longer have the charter flights here and they are cutting routes and cities and are predicted to go belly up pretty soon. they have no agreements with other carriers if your flight is cancelled or delayed......

We have used PanAm out of Gary and were quite happy with the service and comfort. I do know someone who had their flight cancelled. They were offered a flight a day earlier and PanAm paid for the extra night room.

Pan AM has had some lengthy "Unscheduled maintenance" delays... some as long as 8 hours here in Portsmouth, NH. When we rode Pan Am in December, we were delayed, the windshield cracked mid-flight, we had to make an emergency landing in North Carolina where we waited 7 hours for a new plane.... no compensation, no letters of apology... nothing. We are no longer flying Pan Am. If you do an internet seach for Pan Am you will see that their FEW planes have made SEVERAL emergency landings in the past year. One, a landing gear door fell off in mid-air, another sent several people to the hospital. It's convenient, but our decision is not to use them. Good luck if you do!
