Info on MilePoint?

I've had a Delta Skymiles American Express for a couple of years now. Delta has pretty much pulled out of DFW and now I'm looking for alternative ways to use my accumulated miles. Does anyone have any experience with MilePoint (there is a link to them on the Delta site). I'm particularly interested in knowing if you felt it was a good use of your miles and if there are any uses that would tie in with a WDW or Disneyland vacation.

Hi there,

I am signed up with milepoint and have used it to get free magazine subscriptions. It works out pretty well. We've always gotten the magazines that we've signed up for, and we've used it to send mag subscriptions as gifts. (Just click on the Magazines4Miles tab on the milepoint homepage.)

I have not used the travel deals yet. But there are resorts near WDW that you can book. They don't advertise Disney Cruises or Disney hotels at the discounted price though (at least not that I have seen.)

Go ahead and register on the milepoint website if you haven't already. That way you can view the vacation deals they do offer. They won't send any spam email your way just for signing up... I'd say it's a pretty safe site.

I doubt MilePoint would give you good value.

Can't you use your Delta miles on another airline -- Northwest or Continental, maybe?
