Does anyone have a site that might layout what FHA and VA look for in homes before they approve financing? We have someone interested in my mom's house, which is over 100 years old, and the realtor (I am currently selling FSBO but gave him the okay to show it if he had anyone interested) has someone that he showed the house to on Sunday evening that he says is extremely interested. He called me this morning and said they will probably be going FHA or VA and before the inspector comes to look at the house he has some things he wanted to point out to me. I'm just curious if there is a site that lists some of the things that they "require" in the home before the loan will go through.
