Info on dedicated 2BR at VWL

We have a reservation for a dedicated 2BR at VWL. I was wondering if the 2nd bedroom in a dedicated unit was always 2 queen beds or if some units have one queen and one sleeper sofa? I know that some DVC properties (BCV for one) offer both. Our confirmation states that we have a dedicated unit (which I understand is not a request but a specific room type) but I didn't know if I was able to request a 2 queen if it is available.

Any comments would be appreciated.

At VWL, all dedicated 2BR's have two queen beds in the second bedroom. You should be good to go!

I'd say the latter.

Actually, hang around these boards and within 6 months you'll know 95% of all you'll ever need to know about DVC. And 100% of things you don't need to know!!

That particular information is not posted anywhere that I'm aware of. SSR has the same set-up in the dedicated 2BRs. BWV doesn't have any dedicated 2BRs so the second bedroom is always a studio with a queen and a sleeper/sofa. And OKW has 2 queen beds in all the studios so you always get two beds in the second bedroom there. And as you noted, BCV has some with 2 beds and some with 1 bed + sleeper sofa in their dedicated 2BRs.

All dedicated 2 bedrooms have 2 queens in the second bedroom except BCV where someone made a mistake and they couldn't put 2 queens in ~53 out of 78 dedicated villas due to the size of the room. The theory is that the second bedrooms with the balcony doors are the ones that needed the sleeper sofas.

Also note that BWV does not have any dedicated 2 bedroom units.

Thanks Granny and lisareniff for the info. This will be our first trip staying in a 2BR and we are really looking forward to it. I have a feeling that we may never be able to stay in a smaller unit again.
