I think the Orlando area is overbuilt with hotels, and they lower their prices to try to fill them unless it is peak season.

This is just my uneducated guess tho!

I was wondering why it's so cheap too. I stayed at the one on Calypso Cay Way last year and my guess is because there's no restaurants within 'safe' walking distance. We had a great time. Only problem I had was there were only two washers and two dryers total for Country Inn and Amerisuites to share. Had to go into Kissimmee to do my laundry.
