Info on bluezoo

Just spoke to the Restaurant Mgr. at the bluezoo. He said he HOPES the restaurant will be open by 12/20. We're keeping our fingers crossed. He was very excited there is so much interest!!!!

I haven't been able to locate much info on Blue Zoo, other than where it will be located. Can anyone shed some light into what we might expect, in terms of food type and decor, when this new restaurant is unveiled? The name sure has me intrigued!

We're supposed to call by 12/20 and see if they're taking reservations for after. If you listen to the recording, it says 1/21/04! ARG!

I sure hope it lives up to our expectations!!!!

Thank you for providing the link, dotterson! The Blue Zoo menu looks great. I am going to put this on our must-do list for our late 1/04 trip. I have to try the zoo cocktail, and the sundae selections sound amazing! I think we'll skip ice cream at B&C and try some of those unique sundaes at Blue Zoo intstead!

On another post, someone said that Fresh will be closed for lunch on 12/20. Can that mean the bluezoo will open then???? Maybe it's a media event?????

I tried to make reservations for February 12th. They said to call back in January.

HI,

I got a call directly from the Dolphin that the restaurant should officially open on 12/20. You can try Disney Dine then, or go to the bluezoo website and you can hear the recording...

I know how frustrating this is! But, for some reason, I kept calling and got them to call me back! (The guy I spoke to said that it might be first come... before they take reservations on 1/20 thru Disney Dining. Sounds weird to me!)

I just got off the phone with Karen at bluezoo and made a reservation for next Monday the 29th. Tonight is their opening!! Can't wait.
