Today they had a cast member preview. The procedure they used was to close off that section of the park to the general park-going public, and have cast members show an ID to enter that area via one of two check-points. One was near Asia, the other near the 'Tarzan Rocks' theater. I was told that the same procedure would be used for the DVC/AP preview next week. Just show your DVC member card or AP at the check-point.

BTW, in case anyone missed it. Apparently 'Tarzan Rocks' will end this weekend, and the theater will be dark while they gear up for a new show.

Thanks for the info dvc_john. This will be great if we don't have to fight crowds around the ride entrance. The count down is on!

I read somewhere that one DVC member with ID can take 3 friends. Is this correct?
Thanks.

Yes that is correct due to children staying and so forth .You only get 2 DVC cards most of the time so it's not like an AP that everyone must have..

DH & DS16 will be there Saturday morning--
DH does wonder if folks will be allowed to ride only once?
& if so, are you allowed one ride, for say your DVC card & one ride with yr AP card?
Yes, I understand you can bring more than 1 person on yr AP or DVC cards, what we are asking is it just a one time ride per person per card?
If it is just one go round, if you have both AP & DVC are you allowed 2 turns?

Poop, it's later than I think...excuse the mumble
I promise to go up to bed & stop further posts! :upsidedow

by the by, DS16 will be celebrating his 17th birthday--he will have on a DiveQuest tee shirt & his Red Sox cap on--please wish him a Happy Birthday!
I will be sitting this one out--our kitchen is being remodeled & I am designated stuporvisor! :confused3

Thanks! My DW and I are going down that weekend for 3 days with our good friends who are members and we will be staying in a SSR Studio (the points which they got from another friend of theirs that couldn't use them). Once I read about the EE preview, along with the extension of the F&F incentive, and the cheap JetBlue flights, we cobbled together a quick trip.

I have already been speaking to their guide and will be meeting him the Monday we fly home. My DW and I have already 99% decided to join after 18+ months on the fence (well, DW on the fence, me ready and willing, :rotfl: ). Hopefully by the end of the month DW and I will be members!! :cool1:

My understandind as with other previews that your pass will get you a voucher for the pin & lanyard as well as access to that area .You may ride as many as times as you are willing to stand in line .

Thanks for the information! We will be arriving at MCO at 9 AM on 1/28, so we only have a day and a half to enjoy the preview. It will be myself,DH, and 2 youngest children(DS 13,DD 11), as our 15 and 17-year-old daughters snubbed us for our Christmas trip, they weren't invited on this one!

Do you happen to know if you have to actually ride it to get the voucher? I'm a chicken but I would like the pin! :goodvibes
