Info for first time friend

I have a friend that is getting ready to book and I can answer many questions for him, except the things I missed as a first timer.

When I got my castaway membership card, it came with a card for an on board credit. I gave it to him, but it expired on 12-31-03. Is there another way to get first time credit?

Also, he ordered the video. Is this the same video that you watch on the buses on the way to port?

Disney periodically offers on-board credits thur TAs, etc. There is currently an offer running....I think $75 on a 7 day, but I could be wrong about the amount. These are frequently limited to certain sailing dates or to reservations made by a particular date. You can call your TA or check out agents on the web and ask what might be available at any given time.....
