Welcome to the DIS. It would be helpful if we knew what resort you are staying at. You will find lots of great information for your trip here.

Value resorts provide a refrigerator for a fee of $10 per day.

I don't know about availablility of fruit and milk and stuff at values, but I do know you can arrange a grocery delivery from www.goodings.com, www.wegoshop.com, and some other sources.

You absolutely DON'T need a car. Disney Transport works very well (those are the buses that go between your resort and the parks). Also, I assume you're using Disney's Magical Express to get from the airport to your resort. It's free, but you have to register for it. If you're not registered for it, you'll have to find your own way to and from the airport and you'll have to pay for it.

Taking food into the parks is perfectly fine, as long as you do NOT bring a large, hard-sided cooler. We brought sandwiches, snacks, and drinks several days. Small, soft-sided coolers are fine; we usually brought our food in in a backpack. You don't need to "sneak" it in, it's OK -- you wouldn't be able to sneak it in anyway, because security checks your bags before entering any of the parks.

ENJOY YOUR TRIP!

I know that at Sports you can buy milk and other minor things at the gift shop, and fruit and water in the cafeteria......
