Info about Old Key West

Hi! We are staying at Old Key West for the first time this December. Does anyone have any information regarding "special" things at this resort we might not know about, eating at Olivia's Restaurant, easiest/best ways to travel to the different parks? Any information would be appreciated - it is always nerve-racking to stay at a resort that you are unfamiliar with!
