Just called Event Services. They said that International Gateway WILL be open at 8 am and that we may enter EPCOT there for the Event Breakfast. You MUST have your paperwork and photo ID with you to show them.
If you cannot register on Thursday, you MUST register Friday morning at GROUP SALES at the main entrance to EPCOT. You MAY NOT REGISTER AT WORLD SHOWPLACE. Group Sales opens a 7 am on Friday morning. The main gates open at 8 am and you will be allowed to walk through Future World to get to the breakfast.
