Infants on WDW buses

Ok, so I jsut realized that we are not going to be able to take the car seat with us on the bus since we cant carry it around all day in addition to the umbrella stroller. So.... I am wondering what everyone else does. DD is 9 mo.

Everyone holds their babies and children in their arms or laps. You'll find that if you are standing with a baby a lot of people will give you their seat too (not all the time but more often than not). We most certainly do in my family!

You couldn't use the car seat anyway, since there arent' any seatbelts. You just hold them.

You'll have enough gear to worry about anyway, so I was pleased that I didn't have to worry about the carseat on a crowded bus!! I just held my little one, who usually fell asleep within minutes.

Take as little as possible on the bus with you. Carry a backpack instead of a diaper bag so you don't have to worry about where the bag went. Hang on tight~they drive fast!

Yes, you can usually find someone who is willing to give up their seat for you to sit with your little one on your lap, if it's crowded. But I do get annoyed at the people who don't give up their seat. My DS was under 2 and couldn't balance himself with a moving bus so DH held him and the man sitting "beneath" him got annoyed that he had DS's legs in his face, never occurred to the guy to get up!! I don't think my DH has ever sat on a Disney bus...he ALWAYS gets up for a parent with a little one. And we always put a child on our lap to free up a seat for someone else but that doesn't always happen either!!
