Infant Feet at Disney

When my DD7 was 7 months she either wore these cute brown tigger sandals or nothing on her feet. She loved shoes so she always kept them on. My DD2 hated things on her feet and still feels the need to constantly take them off when we are in the car. For her I used Robeez as she left those one 95% of the time and she also didn't hate her crocs, more often than not though she was barefoot.

If you have a baby that likes to suck on their toes, I would be doing Robeez. If them putting their feet in their mouth is not a concern, then I would do bare feet with sunscreen.

I vote for robeez, but I mostly left my DS barefoot before he was walking. I would be sure to bring a pair of shoes with you for your baby, because I've heard of CM asking parents to put shoes on babies for rides or if they are crawling in one of the playground areas.

It doesn't happen very often, but its always better to be prepared! :thumbsup2

We went when my DD was 11 months and she wasn't quite walking yet (although she was standing with help, so her feet did touch the ground). She went barefoot most of the time. We went in July and I wouldn't have put socks on her because it was so hot and they would've made it worse. Go with barefeet and if you need something for when she's standing while you're holding her, get baby slippers or Robeez or Pedipeds. Just make sure to cover her feet with sunscreen as they usually stick out of the stroller shade a bit! Have fun!

We went with my son when he was 8mo in September - I had all sorts of cute sandals and what not but he never wore them. He wasn't walking so he went barefoot the majority of the trip with lots of sunscreen!

One beautiful May day, my DH decided to take our 9 month old on a long stroll to visit me while I was working at a nearby hospital. The first thing I saw as they came off the elevator was my DD's BRIGHT RED FEET sticking out the stroller from under the canopy.   I freaked out and called the charge nurse from the burn unit to come and look at her. It wasn't as bad as I imagined it, but DH caught hell from every nurse in the hospital and he never, ever took her out without sunscreen on every part of her body again. ;)
