I believe I read somewhere that babies are not allowed to stay in a front style carrier when going on rides. Is this the same for the monorail, boats, and buses?

Thanks!

I can't speak specifically to boats or the monorail, but we wore DD in a front carrier often on the buses last time we were there. I think for rides in the parks they have to be taken out of the carrier, but in our experience carriers are allowed on transportation.

I've done quite a bit of research here on The Dis regarding this, as we're bringing our 8 week old to WDW in October. As far as other parents have told me, you can wear a baby in a carrier on all transportation as well as most rides (any ride with no height requirement).

This has been my experience. Wore DD on buses, monorails, rides- no problem.

We went in 2010, so I may be out of date. But I was never asked to take dd out of the ergo and I know I wore her on the people mover, pirates of the Caribbean, toy story mania, and the great movie ride. I also wore her on buses and boats.
