Taking ds2 and 3mo infant in November (I know, it's a little soon to be obsessing already - the kid isn't even born yet :rotfl: ). I was originally planning on buying a double stroller to bring with us - but now I'm wondering if we should just bring Mac for ds and snapngo for the baby. My primary reason for this is that I'd like to have infant carrier for restaurants, etc. - I don't think we'll be allowed to bring a double stroller in and I really don't want to hold baby entire time. Anyone have any experience with bringing two strollers? Dh and I pretty much stay together entire time, so I'm wondering if it might not be that bad. Thanks for any advice!!!

Two strollers seems like a bit of a pain to me, but if you think it isn't, I say go for it! When we went last September DS#1 was 3.5 & DS#2 was 7 months. I brought a single and the front pack. DS#1 walked or rode on DH shoulders when DS#2 was in the stroller and rode in the stroller when DS#2 was in the front pack (which was most of the time). We just skipped the carrier (our stroller was a travel system). This worked wonderfully for us, but DS#1 was older. Being a premature, the baby had just started sitting up days before the trip, but the plan was to bring in the stroller to restruants (they allow it for babies who can't sit up when they don't have other options for you).

Thanks for your feedback - do you think the same holds true in the restaurants for double strollers - I just assumed we wouldn't be allowed to bring it in and that I would have to hold the baby during meals.

We brought a 2 yr old and 6 month old and only needed a single stroller and the front carrier. The baby was perfectly happy being held and since he was a preemie he was the size of a 3 month old. We brought the double stroller and wound up using the baby's seat to carry stuff. But we were allowed to bring the double stroller inside most restaurants if one of the kids was asleep. You just have to ask - but once they even suggested it.

At 3 months, my little one wasn't in the stroller very much. We preferred the front carrier. But the stroller was really nice for naps. For short restaurant and quick trips the Snap n Go would be fine. However, I cringe whenever I see these (or strollers with infant carseats) at Disneyland. It is strongly recommended by doctors to minimize infant carseat use outside of the car. (Of course there are exceptions to this for some with Reflux and such, just in cases without extenuating circumstances).

I'm planning to carry our 2month old in a front carrier or sling most of the time. We are bringing a fully reclining stroller for naps and for the almost-3 yo to ride in at times. In Epcot for sure, and possibly in other parks, we'll also rent a stroller for the almost-3 yo and 5 yo to share (and other kids to take a break in as needed). I would rather pay the rental fee than lug more than one stroller on and off busses.
