So we started the tradition with 'tink' gifts in 2007 with my first dd before second was born. It started more out of a necessity to make a reeeeaaaal budget trip feel more special. We knew we couldn't be buying her stuff in the park all the time.

That was the only time I did it for first dd, she was 7. By the time we went back she was 11 and too old for that but had fun helping me plan them for little one who was 3. So that dd will now be 6 on this trip and next time we go will be 8 - so last year for 'tink' gifts. :wave2:

Problem is for me, this really isn't a budget trip so all my money is going to paying off my package (have to pay by tues, lol) and all the other stuff we need. We are also giving both girls money to spend in parks (plenty IMO.)

Neither know about the trip, but I know I can't just leave the 'tink' gifts out. We are staying 9 nights. So I need some INEXPENSIVE ideas. She is used to getting one a day. We usually hide them while leaving in morning and it's there when we get home... and she is too old for dollar tree bubbles now. hehe. :rotfl:

I'm hoping as it gets closer to Christmas I will see some stuff but anyone have ideas or in the same boat?

How about a disposable camera to take some of her own pictures? Other ideas: sunglasses, stickers and a little notebook to journal in, window clings to decorate the windows in your room.

We do the same thing with our two kids...except that a different character leaves gifts and dining invitations every night. We've given pajamas, Disney trading pins ($25 or less for 25 pins on ebay), inexpensive beach towels for use at Blizzard Beach or pool days, glow sticks, nail polish, hair bows, flip flops, Disney gift cards for spending money in the parks, autograph books...I can't remember the rest! Btw...my DS is 9 and still loves getting these gifts!

If you have a Five Below store near you, they have tons of Disney themed candy, hair ties, nail polish/stickers, etc. All under $5.
