:goodvibes my daughter and son in law just purchased a new home. I want to throw them a housewarming party and i'm looking for any ideas, tips, recipes, etc. :goodvibes
Thanks so much in advance ;)

Vegetable trays (make your own)
Fruit trays (make your own)
Cheese & crackers (make your own)
Cake (you might want to go to Costco to get their large sheet cake for less than $20)

that's what a friend served at her housewarming party

Have a pot luck, and have everyone bring their favorite recipe for your daughter to start a collection!

Or you could always do a taco bar, fun and inexpensive. Just a bit messy but it is part of the fun!

Most housewarmings are drop ins so choose foods that hold up well and still look nice after people have grazed on them. The ever popular cup cakes might be nice and stay looking nice longer than a cut cake.

For summer, perhaps setting fun foods up on a deck or outdoor area might work well. Food can be as heavy or as light as you wish (and can afford).

We attended a bonfire house warming for a single man who just bought his first and very tiny home. It was so fun and he was so grateful!
