Inexpensive custom t-shirts?

I only need 6 shirts with a name printed on them and maybe a design. I'm getting crazy quotes!! Where can I order some cute ones that I can customize. Maybe I could even get a few custom rain coats. Thanks for any help!

Do them yourself.

There's a CReative Disign Board on here. It's fun and easy. Can get tshirts and iron-ons at walmart even.

Otherwise, Zazzle or Cafe Press.

Are you near an "EmbroidMe" franchise?

We have done small groups of t-shirts there and it might have been about $15 per shirt - maybe less for printing on both sides. For smaller quanties - they do a transfer, not screen printing. The advantage - you can get multiple colors for no extra cost.

The one time it was "way more" expensive was when we used "glow in the dark paint", because they had to do 2-layers of screens, and it had to be screen printing, due to the glow-in-the -dark.

Seriously, the cheapest way to do ustom shirts is to go to the Creative DISigns section of the DISboards and a designer will customize a design for you for free just by asking nicely. Then you print the designs on t-shirt transfers (search for Amymickey online and buy her transfers...they are the best I've found, super easy to use, ad hold up well.) Shirts from jiffyshirts.com are cheap and good quality and ship fast.

T-shirt transfers are easy to do and there's plenty of tutorials for it. I paid £3 for a pack of five transfer papers so they're pretty cheap too if you've already got the t-shirts.
