A friend of mine is headed to Disney next week with her Family. Over the past few years she has handed down all of her daughters clothes to my daughter. I haven't had to buy anything! I'd like to make something for her girls ages 5 and 7 to take with them. Any ideas? Right now the only thing I can think of is tie-dye mickey shirts.

Luggage tags with the Mickey heads from the paint department at Home Depot. I would use two of the heads removed from the card back to back and use the peel and stick laminating sheets. Punch a hole and use the little ball chain with the connector.

Many people have also used dollar store autograph books and large sharpies to get the autographs of all of the characters! Perhaps you can decorate the cover or include Disney stickers of the characters for the girls to stick on the page with that character's autograph.

Sunglasses and flip flops for the pool - get cheap plain ones and add rhinestones and even fake flowers

Maybe a homemade autograph book? I made them and it was a lot of fun.. got everything through Disboards and Michaels crafts stores. Easier than I thought it would be...
Also, Disney hair bows/barrettes would be good for little girls, maybe some sparkly make-up or nail polish? My daughter likes glow-in-the-dark nail polish before Disney trips. It glows in "dark" rides like Space Mtn. and Buzz Lightyear. Found it at Sally Beauty supply.
Sounds like a very sweet idea that you have. Have fun!:thumbsup2

I think matching shirts for the family would be great-but I would also add in a gift card for each girl to use.

We are going down with our good friends who give us wonderful hand me downs so I am going to either pay for their meal at Disney or give them a gift card as a thank you for the years of not having to buy new wardrobes for my kiddo!:thumbsup2

I agree, flip flops, sunglasses or autograph books, we made one for my daughter when she went for 1st time at age 6

Thank you all so much! I made a couple mickey head hair clips and I'm planning on making a couple of other little things. You guys gave me so many great ideas to choose from! Thank you!

Not sure if this would work for the trip. But after they get back you could give them a custom container to start saving for the next trip. My SIL made the cutest containers for her kids to save up for their souveniers.
