Inexpensive car rental anyone?????

We are landing in Orlando on June 27th. I will need to rent a car from friday to friday. I just called around and the cheapest rate I got for a full size car was $144.45. Is that good? Does anyone have any inside info they could share with me.

That sounds good i checked rentals for a week was at least$200 through Enterprise and Thrifty.

Try contacting carrentalsavers.com . It takes a couple of days, but they got me a fantastic deal. It doesn't cost anything extra and if they don't get you a better deal, you can always just tell them "No thanks."

Definitely worth a shot.

I have been re-checking our car rental rates. 3 weeks ago the cheapeast was $168 for an SUV for 7 days through Enterprise. Today I found an economy for $111 for 7 days. (June 22-29)

It doesn't really matter to us what size it is. We just want the cheapest rate so that my husband can use it to drive to his conference while we are there.

The kids and I are taking ME to the hotel and he will drive the car.

I was wondering because I recently got a rate of $109 but the total with fees is $257.
