I need to get something sweet and pretty for my 'maids for being so great in the wedding, and being such great helpers, and I want something NICE, but it's a low-key wedding, so I wasn't looking for anything like real pearls, special engraved things.. Just something to show: I really do care, and I love them!! Ideas?

I wish I had some good ideas on this but to be honest buying for the girls is going to be SO HARD. We are getting the guys portable DVD players but I am bumping to see if anyone has ideas for the girls. Good luck!

I made up a gift tote for them. I got them Lenox Tink boxes ($18.99)and put thier jewerly( $30) in it for them, denim jackets with Tink on the back embroidered with thier names( $15.99) and on the back I bought rhinestones that spelled out Bridesmaid and ironed them on the back under Tink. They could remove the rhinestones after the wedding. The jackets really came in handy for our dessert party, they all wore them because it was a bit chilly. I also got them Sterling silver mickey head keychains($20) with thier initials engraved on it. My flower girl got the same stuff but also a princess watch ($30) with her name in it. All the disney items including the lenox I got at Disney shopping on sale.

I made "bridesmaid survival kits" with travel size essentials such as purell, bandaids, lotion, dental floss, lip gloss, those qtip eye makeup remover things, etc. I also got them earrings, not for the wedding but just something to have, that were about $25 each.

If I were doing it now, I'd probably add one of those super cute cell phone charms that Amanda makes... ;)

I had a friend who got a Coach wristlet when she was a bridesmaid. They're under $50 (I think) and I was sure envious! It sure beat the huge fake pearls I got last time I was a bridesmaid!

Or what about spa treatment (not for the wedding), a bottle of their favourite perfume, or movie passes and restaurant certificates for they can have a night out?

I only had one bridesmaid, but I got mine a cute little purse, with an inexpensive silver necklace, and a pretty hair pin to wear in her hair. I wasn't expecting her to wear it at the wedding, but she did, and it looked great with her dress!

I just bought all my bridesmaids pearls (they're from Zales, originally $80 but I got them for $30, has a silver, not gold clasp). Am getting them VS gift cards and then doing tote bags with summer type stuff because we're getting married in May.

For my one and only bridesmaid I got her a really cute tote bag, matching flip flops (from the Disney Store), a few things from Bath and Body works, some Disney Dollars, and a well thought out card.

She is a total purse and shoe girl though, and when I seen the matching flip flops I just knew it's what I had to get for her.

My 3 flower girls are each getting fleece princess hoodies with their names embroidered on them, princess hair ties, bracelets, lip gloss, a purse, a pin lanyard and a few more things.

For under $30 you could put together a cute tote bag for them with little travel size things they might need the day of the wedding or while they are in the parks, go to old navy and get a pair of flip flops in your wedding colors for each girl, maybe make them bridesmaids tank tops that they can wear while they get ready (using the iron on rhinestones.) If you know the girl's styles really well maybe get them a cute pair of sunglasses. Of course the most important part is a card or note telling them how much you appreciate their work and support. I think they'll appreciate that more than anything you give them!

For each of my girls I went to Build A Bear and made them a special bear and had it dressed like their favorite Disney princess, which cost around $30 each then I added an inexpensive initial necklace ($8) and a purse holder which I got off of eBay for $6 each. They all really seemed to like them, and I liked the idea of giving them something Disney without being overboard

They had Ariel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty etc.

WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA!! And a great way to include my mom in all of this!! Woo woo-

Here are the totes that I bought for the girls and some of the stuff I am putting in them. I still have to get them bracelets to wear with thier dress and I think that is it. If I see something else while I am out I will pick it up.

I havefour bridesmaid's and I was very aware that I could spend a lot of money if I wasn't careful.

I searched the internet and found these really cute monogramed Shimmer and Stripes Cosmetic bags which are found here at http://www.giftsandotherwise.com/shop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16965

They were only five dollars each. I filled them up with "girly" stuff like hair ties, gum, soap, etc. I'm also getting them pear earrings and calla lilly bracelets that I found at Avon for $10 each! I was so happy to find them so cheap!
