Yes, I should have added that a Pro knows how *and* when to use a flash.
A Pro also knows how to mix both flash and available light so that subjects don't look stunned against a black background. This requires skills and practice.
Remember film? Until very recently, most wedding protographer had only the choice of ISO 100 or lower.
Ameteurs tend to rely solely on high ISO and fast lenses because they have not developed the skills to make flash pictures look good.
