what is your identity? have you ever been mistaken for someone else? have you ever been told you look like a celebrity?

if so disscuss it how would you describe your idenity, when you are mistaken for someone else how do you feel. And if you have ever been mistaken for celebrity, which one and how did it make you feel, beautiful or a not interesting enough?

I personally believe that identity lies not only in your outer self, but within. I have never been mistaken for anyone else or told i look like a celebrity except once i was told i looked like ashley tisdale. in a way being likend to her made me feel pretty in a shallow way, however it also made me feel unoriginal. But then i realized that i am like no one else in the world and my personality and my DNA belongs to no one else.

disscuss!

So far this year about six people thought I was AnnaShophia Robb. I feel kind of, "I can't belive they think I am her! lol", feel. Beautiful.

Since I was about 14, I've been told that I look like/remind them of Amanda Bynes by nearly every person I've met.
At first it was totally awesome. I felt really pretty & cool.

Now that I'm 18, it's TOTALLY annoying and I get REALLY irritated when people tell me that. It makes me feel completely unoriginal.
And frankly, I find her to be a bit annoying now.
If I tell people it annoys me or whatever they'll be like "well, it's okay, she's hott". :headache:

So I totally loved it at first, but after 4 years, it's gotten REALLY tired and I'm sick of it.

I guess that plays a slight part in my identity, because I've been hearing it since I was 14, and I've gotten it so often.
I think my personality has more to do with who i am though.

Well my identity defines me. I am like many people...but don't look like others. I am a blonde haired girl (like the rest of the world) but I am natural. Like AngelInDisguise I look a lot like AnnaSophia Ross. My attitude is like one where you say what you want and let people deal with it. I guess you could compare me to the girl in bridge to terribithia. I have a big imagination and use it every day.

I had someone i the city ask me for an autograph. They thought I was that Vanessa girl.

i have to live with knowing my first month or so on here, everyone thaught i was a girl

no offence

Never been likened to a celebrity.

I'm not that individual actually, I try to just blend in.

i havent been mistaken for someone else, but my friends have mistaken others for me  . its funny, though, because none of the people look anything like me (actually, this was what my friends did before we were friends)

My friends say I look like a mixture between Avril Lavigne and Renee Zelwigger(sp). How that works... I'm not sure. I don't think I look like anyone.

I've had some random girls act nicely to me before because they thought I looked a lot like Lindsay Lohan, I don't see any resemblance though.

i've been told I look like Kera Knightly and Chelsea Clinton...not sure how I feel about that one...

But, I definately have my own personality, like none other. If you are ever lucky enough to be walking down the same street as me you might have the privilege of me stoping you just to talk, even though I don't know you. But most people will stop and talk to me because I have such a welcoming personality.

I havnt had anybody who wanted my autograph or thought i was a celeb, but i did stay in a Holiday Inn express once

Nobody has taken me as a celeb, but people say i look like other people from my school.

Lol....it's funny that this topic popped up now/

Yesterday in my anthropology lecture i herad the people behind me talking about how ugly & annoying amanda bynes is. and i got really offended!! lol.
i guess because I've been hearing that I look like her for so long that it feels like they are saying I'M ugly!!
I'm always like "NO! I DONT LOOK LIKE HER!"
but then when someone says she's ugly I instantly feel really bad!!

SO I guess "looking like" her IS part of my identity.:scared:

A few people have said I look like the main character from Unfabulous. I guess that's okay.

I'm really shy and don't say much, unless I'm with freinds.

not me but someone in my school jut recently dyed and straightened her hair blonde so now she looks like Hannah Montata. Everyone's calling her Hannah Maytana (because her name is Hannah May but she likes to be called Maisy)
