Individual Lego Racers packs?

Does anyone know where to get the Lego racers which come in individual packs? I saw (and bought) one at Target towards the end of the summer but now I'm not finding them, and I would like to get one for each boy who is coming to DS' party in December, so they can have an assembly race and take them home as the favors. If need be I will upgrade to the small ($5.99-$6.99) sets, as there are only six kids (counting DS)...but I think those would take a longer time and be less fair, since they have varying numbers of pieces.

Does TRU have them? Do I need to go right to a Lego store? Any suggestions would be most welcome, thanks!

I'm going to suggest Five Below. I know I've seen small Lego packs there; it's worth a look/call if you have one in the area.

Target has them in the Halloween section right now for 2.99 (they are bagged ones). Only one style, I don't know if that matters to you.

Look at the checkout aisles at Toys R Us too-I found a Toy Story Alien one there that I'd never seen before. Not sure about the racers though.

Thanks, we do have a Five Below right near here (don't know why that didn't occur to me) so I'll start there and with the Target Halloween section. I think I may want the Alien one for myself if I see it...LOL.

I am torn between getting the same one for them all and getting 6 different ones - guess we'll see what I can find! That's why I'm starting now.

They are at target for 2.99 in the halloween section there was only one model therr. However while waiting in checkout line yesterday i seen a different model and bought it.

Looking at your siggy so assuming your DS is turning 8 and this probably won't fly, but McD's had them last year if you could find a set on ebay. But there were only 3 or 4 pieces per car and no man. My son liked them, he is almost 8, but if I were buying for a party at this age I would prefer the target one.

ok i just went back to target to see what all they had. in the halloween isle they have a red go kart and it is part of the world racers series. in the checkout isles i found a white and green speedboat also part of the world racer series and a black race car which is part of the racers series all of these were 2.99.

edited to add that both the world racers series have mini figurines with them that is the red go kart and geen/white speedboat

Thanks, all! No luck at Target, but I got 6 of the speedboat World Racer at Five Below for $2.99 each. I figured it would be best if they all have the same one.

One less thing to worry about for his party!

I love the speedboat and regret not buying it at legoland. I have never seen it anywhere else! I am off to Target at some point though to see if mine has any around the checkout area.
