Indiana Jones Rehab in October :(

We have not been to DLR since 2004. My absolute favorite ride in any Disney park is Indiana Jones and I just noticed that it is closed for rehab in October during our stay I am so bummed! My 8 year old son had never been tall enough to ride it and he was so looking forward to it this year.

what a bummer! sorry to hear your favorite ride will be closed! especially when sometimes it's impossible to find out until it's too late to reschedule your trip even if you wanted to.

I had to look at your specific dates to see it was closed. I looks like it is closed 10/5-8.

I am so sorry to hear that for your sake! It's always a bummer to find out that your favorite ride will be down. We had a scare with PotC on our last trip-- which is my favorite, must-ride-every-day-- but they postponed the refurb and we got to ride it to our hearts' content.

That said, I'm a little surprised it's only down for a few days-- I know it is well overdue for a MAJOR refurb. It breaks down so often that many people just can't count on it being open when they want to ride it. I suppose that eventually they will just have to break down and really overhaul it. Then it will be very sweet to get to ride it newly refurbished, and hopefully more reliable than ever!

Yeah and those are exactly my days in the parks.... just my luck Oh well we will still have a fabulous trip, and this will just be one more reason we need to return soon

Oh no those are some of our days too I really hate to go when big rides are down that makes the other lines that much longer mad dash for SM and Splash!!! before their FPs run out.

I would double check while there. Sometimes things reopen earlier than expected. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but if the ride is only going down for 4 days, I highly doubt that it will open up earlier than expected. But I feel for you. I would be disappointed because Indy is my favorite ride too.

I wish everyone could always have their favorite rides and shows running when they visit. Hopefully you will have better luck next time!
