Indiana Jones closing for refurbishment 09/12...

We will be at DLR from September 11-15. I've been checking the calendar every day for park hours and entertainment times. When I looked at Monday, September 12, I saw that Indiana Jones was on the refurbishment list. My heart sank. However, it looks like we will be able to ride it on Sunday when we arrive. I've been a bit disappointed with the loss of PTN and some of the other rides closed for refurbishment in September. Glad we are going to be able to fit this in on our first day.

oh gosh...i would love to know asap when the refurb will be over. The last time we went, it was closed, and this time my son is tall enough to ride it. He tells everyone who will listen that its going to be the very first ride we go on when we get to disney...if it isnt open when we are there he is going to be devastated. we get there October 18th, so all fingers crossed its a short closure!!!!

It looks like Space Mt is open in time for your trip. At least it's just one e-ticket down at a time. It's when they double up that the real pain begins. Still, I've not heard anything about this refurb. I'm curious why it's on the list.

See, this is the kinda stuff that gets to me. Why can't Disney give us a refurb list more than just 6 weeks. Maybe a warning at 3-4 months, we can work around it. There's nothing worse than explaining this to your kids.

Ah man, I'm so sorry to hear that! Indiana Jones is my favorite ride - and it was my first ride at Disneyland too! I remember being there for the 40th Anniversary, and it was the new ride. I got to sit in the driver seat, and since I was only 6 at the time it was a big deal to me. I love that ride!

Oh no, we'll be there at the same time and this is devastating. It's one of our very favorite attractions and one of the few that we would have scheduled our trip around.
Hopefully it will only be down a day or two as Sherlee indicated (Thanks Sherlee!)

If it's not accurate, and it's down longer than that, make sure you go EARLY on the 11th. If it breaks down later in the day, they aren't going to be too terribly concerned with getting it up and running again with a refurb coming up the next day.

I have a friend that's a cast member. Just messaged her and she told me that she doesn't have a firm date however she's reasonably sure that it'll be up for the Halloween season.
