Planning on being there in July when it is going to be hot hot hot! Can we bring in drinks? What about snacks?

yes you can. they have certain restrictions such as no alcohol, glass (excluding baby food jars), no straws at AK for safety of animals, coolers larger than 24'' long x15'' wide x 18'' high.

we typically brought a collapsible lunch bag with a frozen water to keep things like sandwiches cool (then drank it), chip type snacks. We just watch for things that melt like chocolate (or ate it earlier in the day).

Oh you mean inside Indy attraction? Yes - we've brought in our food many times. I can recall walking by CM with our butterfinger cupcake from Starring Rolls to eat it before it melted.

Thanks! Having some drinks while we wait for the show will be ideal!

I don't even know that there is an outdoor/amphitheater type WDW show that would restrict food/drink. Obviously you're good at Fantasmic - they have booths for drinks and food, and we've also went back out to grab ice cream and back in. Beauty and the Beast, same thing. The only place I think I'd hesitate is for the Flights of Wonder show at AK... I don't know that I would want a giant condor coming after me:). But actually, I've eaten inside there too.

Alcohol is definitely permitted at Animal Kingdom. You just can't bring it in from outside the park. However, from vast experience, you can take alcohol you purchased inside the park into outdoor shows.

I posted this when I thought op was asking regarding bringing outside food/drinks into park entrances instead of Indiana Jones (I didn't see that at first).
