The point is the stunt show is awful.
It would be interesting to see what type of "marks" this attraction receives, and how (or if) it has changed over the years. It will also be interesting to see the effect the Motors stunt show has on attendance.
Regardless of your appreciation for the show, the reason Disney builds a new attraction is to increase park attendance and spending. The question is would replacing one Indy ride for another meet this goal. Maybe it would. So far, I can't think of a case where they have replaced a movie-based attraction with another attraction based on the same film. It almost happened with Star Tours.
One positive about an attraction like the Indy stunt show is that it swallows up a lot of people (and gives them a chance to sit down for 40 minutes), and I don't see them spending $100 million to replace it unless there's an indication that guests are unhappy with it. In fact, they just spent a year refurbishing it recently. I doubt they'll '86 it' until the depreciation on those capital costs run out.
