As if by magic I am here
Deb is right we have stayed here a few times, I like Indian Creek.
The majority of the homes are just a few years old and generally they are of a very good quality.
It's a quiet and peaceful resort, most of the villas are not locally owned so for example around Autumn Creek and Onieda Loop (2 of the main streets on the development) it's common for many of the villas not to be occupied, I don't think we have ever had any neighbours on our visits there.
One advantage we have found is a lot of the homes have privacy fencing around the pool, not everyone likes this, but personally prefer it (mainly as Joshua can get excited in the pool!).
Nearby Emerald Island and Windsor Palms are a step upwards in terms of overall standing.
However, because of that Indian Creek does offer good value for money as generally the rental fees are not quite as high.
Location is ideal, though I do wish they would develop something where Splendid China used to be, a Publix is closeby at Orange Lake, restaurants such as Outback closeby too and theme park access quick for Disney and the I4 convenient also.
Overall Indian Creek is not in the 'Premiership' but is a very nice place to stay and I would recommend it if you find the right villa.
Would I stay there again? Probably not - having stayed there I think 4 times now I do fancy a change, some of the newer developments are offering community facilities also giving it more of a 'resort' feel, something which Indian Creek does not have.
So for that reason alone I doubt we will go there again, the likes of Terre Verde and Windsor Palms are more appealing to me now, that is not necessarily a criticism of IC.
It is definitely a good community though and I am sure you will like it.
If you want me to send you some photos of the villas I will, I have a few I took on our last holiday - send me a pm if you want to see them.
I would be interested to see which one you have found also, chances are at some point I have contacted them!
