Income tax in Arizona

Hi!

Since I hopefully will be moving to the US next year (because of DH´s job) I was wondering wether any of you could tell me how much the income tax is in Arizona? Are there any websites where I can calculate my net earnings based upon my salary?

If anyone knows where to find accessable info regarding tax, insurance... I would really appreciate it.

We lived in Arizona for several years. Their tax (I'm almost positive) was determined by taking how much you paid in Federal Income Tax. Federal is determined by many factors, how many in your household, how much you earn and what deductions are available to you (standard vs. itemized). I used to withhold 29% of what our Federal Taxes were, and we usually received a $300-500 refund from the state. Because filing your state return is very similar to filing your federal return (many of the same deductions apply) I know people who withheld 22% and in the end they owed about as much as we got back. We were in similar financial situations, both DH and I worked, we had a house but no kids, filed a joint return as a married couple, itemized deductions because of our mortgage interest paid...
