Hi all, I am making sure I have all my ducks in a row before I do my BLT
add-on. I need to know exactly which incentives you got when you added on. As I understand it, it's $5.00 off per point, and a matching set of developers points on add-ons of 100 points or more. The $5.00 off comes in the form of a Disney gift card that can be applied to the down payment, and the developers points can only be used at SSR, The Disney Collection or at DLR. Is there anything I am missing? I was there last week, and saw a incentive for $1,000 gift card, but I believe that is only for new buyers who buy the 160 point minimum. But what I am not getting about that is if 100 points at $5.00 off per point = $500, how could the 160 point with the $5.00 off per point equal a $1,000 gift card? I'm mainly wanting to make sure I don't miss out on something.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The $1000 gift card deal is a flat discount - not a per-point discount. So if you are buying 160 points, it's better than the other $5pp discount. However, there is no additional discount for buying more than 160 points. Yes, you have to buy at least 160 points to get this deal.

You also don't get matching points - you get a 3-night stay in a 1br. For 220 points, you get 5 nights. Yes, it's good for all DVC resorts, not limited to SSR, but if you buy 200 points, 3 nights in a 1br isn't as good a value as 200 "free" points.
