Inaugural 3/31/12 Fantasy Cruise

Echoing nannylori, there have been so many people who have gone out of their way to help others that "thank you" seems tame. In my mind, these people are "friends of Tinkerbell" (hereinafter known as "FOTs"), who spread pixie dust for others.

I'd like to thank and acknowledge all of these great people, and offer two nominations as FOTs: lbgraves, for organizing this thread in the first place, and offering help and support to all comers, and Jon Pilkington, for organizing the lanyard team.

So who do you think of as a "Friend of Tink"? To whom are you grateful for all they've done here?

We are now packed except for last minute things - and of course, the stuff we remember that we did not pack already!

Just got a call from DCL concierge and they were calling to confirm that BBB would be open for the MV. They mentioned that reservations are only being taken for concierge guests at the moment but it will go up online on 4/2, so not a help for MV cruisers. They were also discouraging bookings on the phone as it would get entered in the system and hard to change when you get on board. Did not ask a lot about the offerings but the range was $35 to $575 with appointments every hour.

Just another example of how the MV guests are being given the shaft. The BBB had better be open for the MV since they have been doing business since the transatlantic on the way to NY and FL from pictures and videos posted online. From the price lists released last week the lowest price I saw noted was $50.

Actually, we have packed early in the past and it seems that we end up re-packing.

I have the suitcases out and ready to go, but nothing in them yet. We leave a week from Friday which means I probably won't pack until Thursday night. LOL.

We finished packing last weekend - this two household stuff is for the birds. We got my bags packed almost two weeks ago, then hers last weekend. The only stuff left to pack is daily meds. Not too bad this time guys!! I made it into ONE checked bag with my carryon only half full...Hawaii should be fun...

I am so happy I found this board before our cruise... I only wish I would have found it sooner! This will be our first Disney Cruise, and we are staying at WDW beforehand, also a first for us! I am heading out this weekend to buy decorations for the door... I hadn't even thought about that! My husband and I have two boys, 6, and 23 months! I would love to join the facebook page, as well! I will happily take any tips as a newbie! Have a great day!

Welcome Aboard Glad you found us some of us are leaving as early as this weekend others like myself not until later But we will all have a great time!!
