for a niece in her 20s and you all have that kind of funny/dirty sense of humor I see nothing wrong with you getting it for her --- BUT she shouldn't expect to wear it in the parks - and hopefully wouldn't even want to b/c it's just not OK around little kids.

As you have described your 25 year old niece, I think she would probably think the shirt was funny. Could she wear it in the parks? Why can't you wear a t-shirt with Mickey hugging you from the back? You know your niece best.

funny for a halloween costume outside of disney, but to wear it while at disney, Hate it. It ruins everything that disney is about. I am pretty tolerant of smut as well and not a prude in the least but for me, disney has always been about getting away from all this kind of "look at me" clothing stunts. Isn't there enough of that crap in the real world without ruining disney. If you know in your head that although some people may find the shirt funny..a lot of guest at disney will be upset, angry, annoyed by this statement, then you should not wear it there. When I'm on vacation at disney, I love feeling a sort of kinship with everyone there, with a common goal to have a great time and just enjoy the getting away from all the crap in my reality at home. I would not want to ruin anyone elses time, even if it meant for being annoyed at looking at my stupid shirt for a moment.

Gracious people, he has stated clearly that she will NOT be wearing it in the parks!!!!! I didn't like the in-park idea either but he responded quickly with that info so we can let that worry drop.

I actually think the fact that it is Mickey is what makes it funny.

Agreed. I mean, I dislike that sweatshirt anyway, with Mickey's head going through your back through to your chest (Alien-style), but it's just wrong when tied around the waist.

Yeah, if I got this from an uncle, I'd be totally skeeved .

I mean, it's inappropriately funny (and I mean that in a good way lol) but its def not something I'd like to see in the parks...or anywhere else for that matter.

And if someone got a shirt like that for MY daughter...I'd put 'em in a chokehold , break their arm, and do some serious damage to their nose.

But you're a sweet uncle for thinking of a gift for your niece, haha!
