In your opinion, which moderate is the best and why. We are booking for our July trip and am really torn as to which moderate to book. The only moderate we have stayed at is CBR and we loved it, but my DH wants to stay somewhere different (much to my dismay)
Also, I just called WDW and they told me July codes wont be out till June.

Thanks for the help.

The only resort we have stayed at is POR and we love it. We love the laid back Tom Sawyer-ish atmosphere. We love the breakfasts at Boatwrights (especially the Blueprint Omlette). We love the pool and the fact that you can use both the Ole Man Island Pool and the POFQ pool. We love Bob Jackson the piano man in the lounge, fabulous show for the whole family. We love taking the boat to DTD. My son loved fishing with my dad near Ole Man Island. We loved the cheesecake in the food court, the rest of the food was pretty good too. We loved the Mousekeeper who made the cutest displays of my kids' stuffed animals and the towels (that happened this trip, none the first trip). We love the beauty of the landscape and the little bunnies we saw from time to time. As a gauge of how much my kids love POR, I found out that we are eligible to get a room at SoG and I talked to them about it. I said "if we stay there we may be able to go sooner." They said they'd rather wait til we could afford to stay at POR again...kids waiting to go to WDW until they can go to a certain resort...now THAT's a resort!

We've stayed at CBR, CSR, and POFQ....I'd have to say in order, these would be my preferences:
POFQ
CBR
CSR

Stayed at POR and POFQ, we likes POFQ better because it was more compact, close to restaurant, bus stop, and boat to DTD. We had small kids at the time, and the shorter walk was nice. Nothing "wrong" with POR, though.

We've stayed at both Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs. Of the two I liked Coronado better. The pool looks fantastic - wish it was warm enough to use it when we were there (it was a very cold early December).

Loved walking around the area.

I would have to agree and say that PORQ is the best. Although we have never been there for more than a day, it almost seems like a tucked away little place all of your own. Boatwrights is VERY good btw (DH's cousin is one of the chefs there!!) Do some more research, but i think that you WONT be disappointed!! :flower:

I've stayed at CBR and POR, and my family much prefers CBR. CBR has great tropical themeing, a good food court, and good bus servic. We did not like the POR themeing and the bus service was not good the year we went. The only thing we really like about POR was the boat ride to Downtown Disney. Good luck on your choice.
