What are the funnest rides for kids aged 2, 3, (almost four),5 (almost 6) at the World? They are 36 inches in height up to 46.

My dd is 7 now and some of her fave rides up till now are:
MK-Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Teacups, It's a Small World, Peter pan (pretty much all of Fantasyland!), TTA,
AK-Boneyard Playground, Flying Dinos, Safari, Tough to be a Bug Movie, Rafiki's Planet Watch
DHS-Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground, Playhouse Disney Show, Little Mermaid, Toy Story Mania
Epcot-making the Kidcot's in all the countries, Nemo/Living Seas exhibit, Three Caballeros.

It really depends on the kid. I took my DS on anything he was tall enough for everytime we went. We went to Disneyland when he was 3 and a half, and he went on (and loved!) Splash Mountain. All of them will be tall enough for the majority of the rides...the ones without height restrictions definitely outnumber the ones that do. Here is the height requirement calculator: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/height.htm :wizard:

Thanks for the link, I didn't even know that existed! It makes everything so much easier. But I have a question, it says Buzz Lightyear's Astroblaster is 51", really???

I also agree that it depends so largely on the child.

My DD loves roller coasters. My DS does not.

So, I'd look over the rides, then maybe show each child pictures and describe each ride to them. Avoid words like "scary" or even "fast" or "slow" as that is very subjective. Then they can indicate which may look fun. Then you can get an idea of what rides each child wants to try.

I also let little kids know that we MAY get to ride such and such ride, as there are times when either the line is very long (and maybe no fastpass available) or the ride is shut down unexpectedly (it could happen). That way they don't get disappointed. I know when you tell a 2 or 3 year old you are going to do something, then you can't for whatever reason, they can get upset, especially with all the excitement at WDW, maybe lack of regular naps, etc...

I am sure my kids have gone on Buzz since they were 2 or 3? They loved that one!

Nearly everything in the MK was a hit with my kids. We didn't go on BTMR (not for lack of trying but it broke down and we never got back to it) or Space Mt. We did take DS on Splash Mt. and he loved it and rode it again.

Every ride in Fantasyland was rode SEVERAL times the biggest hits were: Winnie the Pooh and Small World. The biggest hit in the MK by far was Goofy's Barnstomer, DD was just tall enough to ride it and we rode it about 4 times (DS and DH rode it 2 extra times while DD and I waited in Pixie Hollow). Mickeys house was NOT a hit but they loved Minnie's house. We rode Buzz (I don't think there is a height restriction DD rode it) after riding Toy Story Mania and neither one was very into it.

The biggest surprise was DS's LOVE for the Carosuel of Progress, he still sings the song and talks about it.

That is the ride at Disney Quest, not the ride at the Magic Kingdom. Buzz Lightyear Spaceranger Spin has no height restriction.

Well DD3 loved Snow White's scary adventure, that was her favorite. She enjoyed everything else too. The Barnstormer was really fun, short, but fun. DS1 enjoyed It's a Small World & the Carousel.

My daughter has always enjoyed It's a Small World, Peter Pan, Snow White, Barnstormer, Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion (Yes I know it can be scary but once we got past the stretching room she loved it and wanted to ride it over and over again) TTA, Buzz Lightyear, The Tea Cups, Dumbo.... hold on I'm naming everything. :rotfl2: She really liked anything she could ride. I think it all depends on the kid though.

We went when my son was 3 & this year when he was 4. He loved Mickey's Philharmagic, Dumbo, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Tomorrowland Speedway, Kilimanjaro Safaris & Triceratop spin.
