Do you think taking advantage of the Early Entry Park is even worth it? I'm thinking that the crowds for that day/park would be worse than a non-EE day.

What has been your experience?

Absolutely take advantage of it! It really does make a difference. I am a big fan of EE.

yes, it's worth it. Especially in off season when the parks close so early. We leave mid-day when the park gets to crowded and go to another park or to hotel pool or disneyquest.

I thought EE was definitely worth it for the MK and MGM. We were able to do all of Fantasyland at the MK, and ToT, RnRC, & Muppets at MGM in the first hour. Plus shop a little bit in Tatooing Traders- we could have done Star Tours- it was a walk on, but no one really wanted to go on it.

Like you, we're from the Central time zone. That means that being at a park for EE at 8:00 am is actually 7:00 am "body time" and we'd have to get up even earlier than we do for school and work when we're home! Not much of a vacation, IMHO. So we are a family that avoids the EE park on any given day and goes to another park. Being at a non-EE park (especially MK) when the ropes drop can be almost as advantageous as doing EE.

we jsut got back yesterday and I would swear by early entry. This is great and you can get to the parks and do the major early entry rides before have the "nation" gets there. Trust me, when you get to the park and are standing 3rd from the gate and look back you will see the other two million that did not take advantage. Well worth it! You can get a mickey wake up call and we just did for 5:30 every a.m. so we could shower, eat and go. At night we packed our fanny packs for the next day so we did not have to mess in a.m. We were at bus stop at 7 a.m. each day, worked well for us.

You will hear different opinions on this topic. We do not have children and we use the avoid the EE park at all costs touring plan.

Well, we just got back from a 9 day stay at ASMu and we never made it to early entry. We did have breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8 am and got out before everyone else got into the park and rode everything we wanted before noon. It was great. We didn't stand in any lines longer than 10 minutes the rest of the trip and took advantage of fast passes. We have been there two other times and it was the first time I felt like we didn't miss anything. But I guess I'm getting too detailed for your question. It's a good idea to do early entry if you like to get up early. It was just too hard for us.

We are thinking of doing EE for Magic Kingdom on a Thursday. How busy are the EE days? Is it comparable to E-ride night?
