In what order do you do the attractions at MGM?

RnR and ToT first, whichever has a shorter wait, or if one is a bit longer, we'll grab a fast pass for one while we do the other. Then we had back on Mickey Ave. and hit Animation, OMD, (insert Millionaire here-DF is upset this is gone since I neve made it in the hot seat, LoL - came so close), Backlot Tour, Lights Motors Action, Muppets, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, Great Movie ride. We kind of go in a big circle. Then we just go back and do anything else we want to do again. We also do the B&B show depending on times. :)

Well ...... I would PREFER to do ToT the VERY first thing, BUT that would mean it would be right after my full buffet breakfast.

We all know that might not work very well.

LOL !

We always start with the Great Movie Ride. I like to do it twice so I can see both sequences, so, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. We usually hit attractions around the hat early and then TOT/RRC in the afternoon, after lunch has settled.

grab fast pass for rnr, ride rnr, ride tot, ride tot again, go to rnr, grab fastpass for rnr, use first fastpass and ride rnr. then go to whatever you want, and come back to ride rnr with your fast pass.

We head down to ToT and R'nRRC first and ride one while waiting for our fastpass to come up for the other. Sometimes we ride one after the other without needing FPs. We then head over to the GMR and then onto OMD finishing up with Muppets. Every now and then we will also do IJSS and ST along with the Backlot Tour but these are no longer must do's/see's for us. No children in our traveling party so we bypass many things now.

For morning trips, we generally grab FPs for RnRC, then ride it standby, then ride ToT standby, then our FP's for RnRC will have come up so we grab FPs for ToT and use the RnRC ones. Then depending on the return time for ToT, we either stay in the area doing some shopping/browsing, or go do something else the GMR or OMD while waiting. Then we go to Muppets, Star Tours, and decide if we want to to Indy or LMA show. By then it's lunchtime, usually at '50s Prime Time or Sci-Fi. Then we generally head back to the room for a break.

For afternoon trips, we grab an FP for either RnRC or ToT, whichever has the longer wait, and standby the other one. Then we like to catch the parade, do Muppets, GMR, Star Tours, and have dinner at Brown Derby or '50s Prime Time. Then it's either Fantasmic, or if it's holiday time, a stroll thru the Osborne Lights, and maybe one last evening ride on Tot and RnRC before heading out.

We arrive as the park opens. DH will go to Starring Rolls and have breakfast while I grab a FP for ToT and RnR (one with each of our tickets). Then I ride RnR followed by ToT. Then we meet up and ride Star Tours together. If we want to see Mermaid that day we do that. Then I use my FP while DH relaxes. We follow this up by a trip to the 2nd part of the Animation Tour (we don't do the first unless we are with people who haven't gone before). Then we wonder around a bit before hopping to another park. DH doesn't like MGM he just goes to be with me so if I generally only choose one show or ride outside of ToT and RnR when we go to drag him to (other than Star Tours and the character drawing which he really enjoys).

RNRC
TOT (sweetpea only)
Great Movie Ride
Back lot tour
Then whatever else we feel like doing after we get those done.

Fast pass Rocking Rollercoaster and hit the tower of terror stand-by line. Then the great movie ride. And back to the RnR and ToT.

Always at MGM for early opening. Immediately FastPass ToT, and ride RnR about 4 times. :thumbsup2

We normally start with RnR, ToT, then if the line is short, back to RnR, by this time we are ready to head over to the HAT to checkout any new mdse, then off to Little Mermaid and then we work our way to back of the park.

Hi - I'm new to this board (a DCL cruise board member) so not sure if others have mentioned RideMax. They offer nifty software that allows you to pick what attractions you want to do at any Disney World park and then gives you a schedule based on expected wait times, minimizing both your walking time and your waiting time. We're going to WDW next week and will use the schedules it suggests.

The downside is that it only has rides so it won't for example schedule the Indiana Jones show or other things like that. The company has a website and you can download the software from it.
