So, after returning from DLP in February I thought that was that until we go back for Halloween and also our special adults only birthday visit just before Christmas..........
However, post DLP blues kicked in after I had an operation soon after our return. Thought they would lift and they are still here (think it has something to do with having a general anaesthetic too), so as DH says "There's only one cure for this!".
So, we have booked 3 nights at The Explorers Hotel for June 11th - 14th so that we can enjoy the Spring Festival. We love gardening and plants and used to own a topiary company, so I think we will love it - plus going to DLP outside of a Winter month. Yay!
As it is just the two of us, we are going to fly there for the first time (usually go via Eurotunnel). But the flights were only £65 each return Bristol (30 miles from us) to CDG. So exciting! got a good deal on Explorers too.
DH has a dream AP, but I don't have any AP as we usually book me in to a DLP Hotel and add the others. That is what we have booked for October as well, so I want to hold off getting an AP for myself until December so that I am in synch with the rest of the family. I have seen 2 day/2 park tickets on CE Multiavantages for 2 consecutive dates for 65 euros, so will most likely go for that option.
I am sure this is what the doctor ordered, as I am all happy and excited again!
Despite a letter arriving this morning letting me know the next (minor) op is on April 9th.
but that does give me 8 weeks to recover before going! Woot!
