in the park right now

i posted a thread earlier this week about going to the park solo. i have to say...it has been awesome. the weather is really good, i would say mid 70s. pretty crowded though, but still good. things i have done so far

1. rode peter pan's flight. line was fairly long. about an hour or so.

2. snow white. again, fairly long line

3. its a small world. the song is stuck in my head right now and i'm assuming it won't go away for a few days.

4. met a family from out of state in line at its a small world. they had a very interesting 7 year old who taught me the lyrics of the song.

5. had a churro. a must have in the park IMO.

6. met peter pan, one of my favorite characters. really hilarious to talk to and was trying to annoy park guests.

7. just finished watching musical chairs. highlight: alice was trying to teach the crowd how to curtsy. you have to bow saying "yooooooooooooow majesty." she's so cute and funny.

8. heading off to watch the parade right now. finding a good spot.

9. once parade is over, start hunting for characters (belle in particular...i absolutely love her) then off to the matterhorn, big thunder and space mountain.

10. contemplating if i should ride the nemo subs or indiana jones. insanely long line as of now. 2 hours or more wait for both last time i checked. i'll try to score some fastpasses for them if i can.

CMs were pretty nice and thoughtful. iphone application has been a great help. it has been a wonderful day so far.

* i think i'll be getting an AP after this.

I love mini-trip reports. It sounds like a beautiful day in DL and I wish I were there, too!

Regarding #10: FP for Indy and wait in line for Nemo??? Whatever you do, I'm sure it'll be better than the movie I'm sort of watching.

just got home from DL right now.

SeansMom, i ended up not going to nemo. the line was too long. i would have missed the fireworks if i did.

DangerMouse, yeah...i did use the single rider line for indy but not for splash mountain. it was kinda chilly so i didnt want to get wet.

MagicalMomAZ, i don't know if its the same alice...but she was really sweet and nice when i talked to her. a bunch of people (myself included) were following her around. she and the mad hatter were so funny together. they remind me of my sister and i when we bicker and play.

The parade was great. they didn't stop in the spot i was in though, so that was kinda sad. and the fireworks...OMG...it was one of the best i've seen in my life.

best part...I....MET...BELLE (again)!!! and she kissed me on the cheek.
