I agree 100% with OP. The show stunk and had no business being on at 8:00 with the content it had. TV just ain't what it used to be! Gary Coleman...where are you??? We need you back!!!

I agree with most posters that the show was horrible. Megan Mullally was a perfect match for Karen in Will & Grace, but she definitely doesn't shine in In The Motherhood. I have my DVR set to record every episode of the show, but I doubt I'll watch it except when I'm really bored on Sunday afternoons.

Can you say, "Honey, PLEASE!!" <----- that's my pathetic imitation of Karen by the way...

I remember being psyched up for her talk show. Then, I watched it.

But to be fair, the script for this show was so dreadful I really don't know how it got on the air in the first place. There was not much that Megan could do...

The state of commercial TV in general has become so vapid, so completely bereft of any new ideas or quality writing that it's becoming almost unwatchable.

I'm not sure why this is....
