In search of great desserts...

Can't believe I logged on and saw this thread. I just finished baking the Berry Cobbler . Took the recipe off the Deb Wills site. This is the 2nd time I have made it. It is wonderful. We loved this at Artist Point. My husband and I share it there. I love chocolate so my fav was always the Lava Cake at FF. they do not have that any more:( . I asked in May and was told the new chef wanted some changes.

Thanks for all of the dessert ideas. There's no way we'll be able to try all of them, but that just means we'll have to make another trip. ;)

I especially loved the hints about making some of the desserts at home. I had never thought to try to find recipes of WDW desserts on the web. So, now I'm off to find some great desserts to make at home. Of course, there's the tough decision of what to try first!

I had the best chocolate mousse at Mama Melroses in MGM. The only problem is, you can't get it carry out - you have to sit in the restaurant to get it.

So my question is, do many of the WDW restaurants/bakeries get their chocolate mousse from the same source? If so, where is a good place to get it without having to be seated?

I saw another poster mention the bakery in France - sounds like a winner to me! I was just coming over here to ask for suggestions, and found this thread. Mmmmmm

The bakery in France is definately my favorite--sorry I don't remember the name of it. EVERYTHING there is WONDERFUL although making a decision can be quite hard. Their Napoleon is one of my favorites.
