In room(suite) weddings?

I tried to search for this topic but the search button is not working. Can anyone tell me what they did for their in room wedding? What type of food? cake? apetizers

i know others have had a suite wedding/talked about this to save money but one thing you need to be aware of is if youre caught you can be thrown out of your hotel & disney. that would be so embarrasing. per disney policy all wedding ceremonies there have to go through dftw. ntm some vendors like officiants & photographers disney brides regularly use wont want to risk their reputation with disney.

you might want to consider an intimate dftw or a wedding off site ie leu gardens in orlando.

as for the suites there are some good pictures of them at suite disney .com
most of the deluxe hotels (with these suites) offer in room dining or private dining with meals &/or hospitality trays.

thanks for the help but disneyland does not offer intimate weddings. I just want the wedding reception in the room. I thought people had done this. Not the actual ceremony? Will this still be cutting it close with disney?

If you want to have a party in a suite then you can but performing an actual wedding ceremony is considered by Disney a definite "no-no" in Walt Disney World, I can't speak for Disneyland.

I have read on here that people have certainly had welcome parties etc in their rooms or suites or Disney Vacation Club Villas, some have used Disney Private Dining or they've gone to Publix etc.
