In Room Safes at Paradise Pier?

I am considering taking my laptop down to DL in August. The only purpose for this would be to off load pictures from my digital camera when the CF card is full. Yes, I know I can purchase a few more CF cards on the cheap

I have read an article ( can't find it now) that the newly renovated rooms at Paradise Pier have in room safes large enough to accomodate a laptop. Can anyone vouch for this? What method do these safes use to secure your valuables?

Call the hotel. They will tell you how big their safes are. As an alternative, they might have some safes in their vault that you can rent.

We just got back. The safe either uses a code you enter or any magnetic strip of any card. Just dont lock that card in the safe . The hotel was fabulous- they did a wonderful refurb. Enjoy!
