i am considering having a special surprise delivered to our room, for our daughter, at the GCH. Has anyone ordered one of these deliveries? If so, what did you think of the experience?

We've used the Disney Floral & Gifts before (that's the only delivery) and were pleased. We did a Mickey welcome similar to this one but it was 2 yrs ago so a little different http://disneyland.disneyfloralandgifts.com/product/mickeyandminniesgrandmagicalwelcomefamilykit.do

My DD loved it.

FYI Last week I had chocolate covered strawberries and Mickey rice krispies sent to a friend's room at GCH for her birthday from room service with a note and Happy Birthday button and they were only $3 each! I'm going to do that option from now on instead! They let me pick the time they were put in the room and everything adn my total was about $40. Pretty magical price :)

We were sent cookies with a card. I didn't find it on the floral gifts site and didn't see it on the room service either. Never asked how Lindsey sent them to us.

I like the room service option! Would you mind sharing how it totaled $40? Was that including a tip? Thanks!!

Last time we were celebrating my son's birthday. I called the floral number to see if I could have something personalized, and was told to look at the website and pick something from there. I was NOT impressed. I hope you have better luck. Would love to know how to order the rice krispy treats to the room!

Thank you for your replies. The room service idea sounds like a good one! I will have to look into that too. :)

I do cookies and milk to friends from room service. The provide a nice plate of cookies, treats and milk for $25-50 depending on what you want.

You have to call GCH directly and ask to be connected to room service, then you give them the date and time you want them delivered and they give you a 3-hr window of delivery. They will NOT deliver to a room that has a Do Not Disturb on the door though.

I ordered 5 Mickey cookies, 3 chocolate covered strawberries and 5 Mickey rice krispies and she gave me the tax and service charge included. I didn't add extra tip. You also can have milk delivered and refrigerated in a bucket.

It's a pretty good "open" secret, huh :)

Can you do this before arrival or only when you are there

Both. As Malcon10t said you can send them to others staying at the hotel even if you aren't.

We send birthday ones to friends and I just call and order it and give my cc.

We had Halloween baskets delivered to our boys last September. and they loved it. Yes, it was expensive, but it came with the lighted trick-or-treat pumpkin, Halloween Mickey, and lots of candy. I thought it was totally worth it. Last July, my husband had a little package delivered to me. It was like a lunch bag filled with snacks. I loved it and love the lunch bag (which I use to take my lunch to work). When we take our boys back next summer, I am going to send them something. It was so much fun to get a surprise.

We did the birthday surprise for my daughter. It was over the top! Banners, balloons, footprints in the floor. Then each of the fab five gave her a HUGE box with 3-4 gifts inside. Candy, treats, bubble gun, Mickey ears, stuff
Like that. She 100% believed that Mickey and his friends were in our room and left her presents.....it was so fun and worth every penny.

I've had a hard time finding the current PPH room service menu online. Does anyone have a link?

They hardly knew at PPH today. One said 25.00 for 2 cookies while another lady said roughly 15 for a Mickey cookie "platter" so who really knows

Right, it is the same in all 3 hotels. Perhaps call Vacation Planning? This is the number I used to use. 714-300-7526 ext 2.

We did this last year for my daughter and her best friend. Both were turning 26!! They did a fabulous job. One huge box from each character, filled with tons of stuff in each box!!

Wow, what a great surprise! Very well done by Disney.

I was going to order a graduation gift set, one that included the grad. ears, but my daughter has since told me that she prefers the mortar board style, which isn't available from this service. So, I may just order some treats to have delivered from room service. ☺️
