Hi!!!

we will be down at Disney for Thanksgiving. We do not have dining reservations and we are a large party of 15 of us. I was we are staying at a villa at Saratoga Springs. I was wondering if anyone knew of any grocery stores that would offer thanksgiving dinners that we could pick up and bring back to our hotel? Thanks

We got a holiday meal from Goodings several years ago when Goodings was still good. Go with Publix and you'll probably have to pick it up a day or two before. The precooked turkey still takes a long time to heat up especially if you get it frozen.

If there is a Cracker Barrel nearby (and I think there is one not far from AK) they sell a Thanksgiving meal that you can purchase with only a few hours notice.

We were at SSR for Thanksgiving 2 yrs ago. We ordered our meal from Cracker Barrel, about 10 days before we left home. On Thanksgiving, we drove over to pick it up, went inside to pay, and then pulled around back where they had a "tent like" awning set up with tables. Our meal was packaged when we paid, and was waiting for us by the time we got to the back. We had turkey, ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, dressing, sweet potatoes, and 1 or 2 other sides, as well as biscuits & I think cornbread. (also cranberry relish) We also ordered 2 pies. Everything was delicious! We were even impressed with how well it was packaged, and everything was hot when we got back to SSR. The price for the complete meal was so reasonable. We would definately do it again if we should be there again on Thanksgiving.
